Saint John GROOM-A-THON #2 - Shelter dogs get TLC

Last Friday I volunteered along with 6 fabulous Saint John Groomers for our 2nd GROOMATHON event this year.
The shelter staff brought the dogs to Tina Standing’s grooming shop in North Saint John, where the fabulous groomers (Tina Standing, Amy Hunter, Kim Leblanc Nunes, Carla Bagley, Amanda Yoston, Stephanie Eilersen, & Kelly Wilson of "Nothing But Rewards Dog Training") show the shelter dogs what a little TLC can feel like and return them to the shelter sparkling clean and ready for a new home. I took some photos of the dogs after their “grooming sessions” to complete their makeover and hopefully get the word out to get some adoptions this week!

Thanks to all the groomers who came out to volunteer and the awesome ARL staff for transporting the dogs back and forth. It was a fun day! Looking forward to our next event! xo
